Goodbye Nothing is an 80s-influenced, coldwave/indie pop song with lyrics inspired by the 1958 film Madhumati, directed by Bimal Roy. Madhumati is a Hindi paranormal romance that's been compared to Alfred Hitchcock’s Rebecca, both in storytelling and in its dramatic black and white cinematography.
